The agreement was $35 per hour, 10 hours per week, equating to $1,400 per month. However, my experience with Hayden has been anything but satisfactory. After just one month, Hayden unilaterally shifted focus from SEO to web design without notifying me, dedicating an entire month to creating a single-page website and billing me $1,400 for it. Meanwhile, SEO efforts seemed to stall, despite his original commitment. Fourteen weeks into our collaboration, I inquired about our progress toward the promised SEO results. Hayden responded by extending the timeline to six months, doubling his initial estimate. Upon reviewing his time tracking records, I found significant idle time during so-called ‘blog writing’ sessions, with long periods showing no keystrokes or mouse activity.
